The Khadomas are the Eight Wrathful Ones, the chosen avatars for the Kogna Jogini, an angry death god. Each Khadomas is a reflection of the god. A different corporeal representation made flesh; the body, the hands, the feet, the eyes, the mouth, the brain, the sex, and the heart. They are the eight that are one. Each separate but each vitally important, the Khadomas walk the earth for the Kogna Jogini. Following the Code of Kerimas, they fulfill their duties as did the eight before them. The Khadomas gather the souls of the weak and every victim slain is a tribute, every drop of blood that the Khadomas' spill is to replenish, and the fear that trembles when their names are whispered only strengthens the Kogna Jogini. To one day claim true flesh and walk upon the earth a path of destruction.

Not all truths are accepted for what they are. When word spread of a fallen Illum, many were skeptical of the claim. But there were others that could not do anything but believe. The Dharmapala were such believers, adamantly faithful to a fault. They saw Samatha as a messiah, a fallen angel to wage war against those who had lost their faith in the elder ways. And this war was not reserved for the 3C, but to anyone who would not accept Samatha for the divinity that she was. The Dharmapala will kill any who disclaim the fallen Illum. And after the body is stilled, and the soul has left, the Dharmapala will sew the eyes shut and whisper, “You now know the word of the fallen Illum.” |
