The Middle Lands are the cradle of all civilization. It was here were the Infinite decided to build the center of his great empire. It is also where the Great Light first shined. Surrounded by the Sandsorrow and the Meditated Rain, the Infinite devised an impenetrable territory, some say, to watch over the mysterious risen land, Gethsemane . The Middle Lands are ripe with technology and antiquated mystery, and where all that falls under the Infinite's shadow is his to control.
The Sagun Citadel:
The Sagun Citadel is the main principality of the 3C Empire. It is known to its inhabitants as the Obsidian Fortress. This megalithic structure is governed by the foundation of the 3C Empire, the Infinite. The Sagun Citadel is surrounded by defenses on land and by sea. The Sandsorrow, the desert waste lands that skirt the Obsidian Fortress, are littered with roving Mechanical Dirahs. The Meditated Rain, the dark seas that touch the Sagun's shore, is searched by the probing Lighted Isles of the Darkened Aisle. The Infinite has gone to great lengths to guarantee his safety and the Sagun Citadel has proven itself impenetrable.
The Eyeful Citadel:
The Eyeful Citadel is second principality of the Middle Lands. The ruling nomark is Negral, the thought hunter. Found in the northern sector, the Eyeful Citadel has been built from the salvageable remains of the old world. A tall metallic structure, the Eyeful Citadel is a forbearer of a primal age, perfectly matched for the residing Nomark.
The Lighted Isles:
Deep within the sea of the Meditated Rain can be found the gleaming guardians of the murky waters, the Lighted Isles. The Lighted Isles are signal islands that act as beacons for traveling vessels that forge through the vast and disparaging seas of the Meditated Rain. Each of the Lighted Isles is depended on one another as a network of connected visual markers that protect the watery entrance to the heart of the 3C Empire, the Sagun Citadel. Each Lighted Isle is a fortress, an armory, and a transmitter. Multi-functioning sleek silver structures that stand erected high into the air. Spotlights surround the silver mechanical stem of a Lighted Isle, a cage of lights that spirals and bends with the desired illumination.
Mechanical Dirahs:
Transports use Mechanical Dirahs to refuel. The Mechanical Dirahs surround and monitor all the areas of the Farms of Phoenicia. The Farms of Phoenicia is a baron wasteland that is used to train the elite soldiers of the 3C Empire. Soldiers that don't make it past the training stay in the wastelands and stay in the Mechanical Dirahs. The Mechanical Dirahs' acted as relay stations for transports that journeyed to the ‘Farm'. They were also used as sentries of the sands, for the Mechanical Dirahs were aligned on travel routes that would lead a transport successfully and safely through the Sandsorrow. At night, the solar panels emit a soft red illumination, whenever the Mechanical Dirah was occupied. The Mechanical Dirahs are the Lighted Isles of the land surrounding the Sagun Citadel. It's a huge circle of Sentries surrounding the Citadel.
Gethsemane : The Risen Land
Gethsemane was the land once known as the holy land, Israel . After the Great Light, the land mass was raised high into the air. Gethsemane is the proverbial heaven, its inhabitants known as the Illum, highly adept psionics who have unrivaled abilities. The buildings of Gethsemane are architecturally impossible. Insanely unrealistic proportions with unbalanced supports, everything upon Gethsemane appears like a fantasy, and incomprehensible to the eye. The heart of Gethsemane is the Ascletarian dome, which houses the Oracles. It is the center of Gethsemane and the most lavish and exquisite visible structure and at night it emits gorgeous displays of light.
